Prêt-à-Loger team - project ‘House with a Skin’

"We are not designing a House for the future; we are designing so that our homes will make it there”.

The Solar Decathlon is an international and multidisciplinary competition which challenges universities and institutions of higher education to design, construct and operate a solar-powered house. The Solar Decathlon Europe 2014 take place in Versailles, France in the Summer of 2014. For the Solar Decathlon Europe 2014, the TU Delft has formed the Prêt-à-Loger team, a multi-disciplinary and international team of students with a dream to renew the world. The project ‘House with a Skin’  aims to solve the problems relating to the current building stock by laying a new skin over existing houses.
