2Flow

2Flow stands for to Flexible Learn, Organise and Work and is how TU Delft refers to ‘The New Way of Working’.

2Flow, changing the way of work

2Flow is about a way of working in which employees can work independently, anytime and anywhere, increasing their productivity and vitality. As such, it helps optimise their output, and therefore also that of the organisation.

But there are also other advantages: employees no longer have to wait in traffic jams en route to work each day, significantly reducing frustration and enabling them to spend this time with their family or to prepare for a meeting later that morning.

It allows organisations to use office space more efficiently whilst also helping reduce traffic congestion, an objective close to TU Delft’s heart. Perhaps equally importantly, it makes organisations more attractive to the talent they already have (and want to retain!) and to the external talent they want to attract, if they can offer these people independence, flexibility and personal responsibility.

2Flow means different things to different people

In practice, 2Flow is different for every organisation. Nevertheless, The New Way of Working always involves a number of key subjects: the people, and the technology, the working environment and, of course, social media.

How 2Flow can support your New Way of Working?

2Flow facilitates the process of deciding on a vision (why), the necessary changes in behaviour (how and what), the ICT resources that will need to be deployed (by what means) and which physical areas are required in order to do the work effectively (where).
