Design & Engineering
Design & Engineering Day 2009 - November 5th
On the 5th of November 2009 the Delft University of Technology organized the Delft Design & Engineering Day. Innovations are dependent on engineers who put their fundamental research into smart constructions and designs. The design and engineering disciplines are the vital link between genuine, scientific research and innovation.
The TU Delft wishes to emphasize the importance of design and engineering as a scientific discipline, and declared ‘Design & Engineering’ as this year’s theme, with several initiatives and projects. The Delft Design & Engineering Award, the competition to reward the best design of the TU Delft, is one of them.
