Enrolment
You can enrol as a student at a university as long as you meet certain admission requirements. However, specific admission requirements apply to the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes:

- Admission requirements for Master’s degree programmes
In addition to the full-time Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes you can also enrol as:
- student for a second degree programme
-
student minor, with HBO P
-
student bridging course, with HBO B
- external student
- minor student (guest student)
Studielink
First of all you need to register with Studielink, which helps you to organize your enrolment easily, clearly and quickly. But even after registering with Studielink this still does not mean you are enrolled at TU Delft.
You are officially enrolled once your digital authorization payment for the payment of the tuition fee has been processed. See Conditions and Liability of the TU Delft. Once your enrolment process has been completed TU Delft will send you a Notice of Enrolment and you are now enrolled.
Numerus clausus and decentral selection in Architecture, Industrial Design and Aerospace Engineering
As from September 2012, TU Delft limits the number of First-year students enrolling in its Bachelor’s programmes in Architecture, Industrial Design Engineering and Aerospace Engineering, in other words TU Delft introduces a numerus clausus. It is important to apply early, visit the website for more information.
Final deadline
In order to prevent problems with completion of your enrolment, we strongly request you to carry out the enrolment and to make the required payments before 1 August, with 30 September as the final deadline. Enrolment after September is only possible if you enrol for the second semester of a Master degree programme (first time enrolment only). This is possible for the following programmes Design for Interaction (IO), Integrated Product Design (IO), Strategic Product Design (IO) and Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management (TBM).

Retroactive enrolment is not permitted by law.

Long programme completion time
As detailed in the newsletters, the Dutch government plans to make ‘long-term’ students pay an additional €3000 in tuition fees, starting from the academic year 2012. Consult the TU Delft website for details of the planned rules for long-term students.
