Enrolment

You can enrol as a student at a university as long as you meet certain admission requirements. However, specific admission requirements apply to the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes:

In addition to the full-time Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes you can also enrol as:

Studielink
First of all you need to register with Studielink, which helps you to organize your enrolment easily, clearly and quickly. But even after registering with Studielink this still does not mean you are enrolled at TU Delft.

You are officially enrolled once your digital authorization payment for the payment of the tuition fee has been processed. See Conditions and Liability of the TU Delft. Once your enrolment process has been completed TU Delft will send you a Notice of Enrolment and you are now enrolled.

Numerus clausus and decentral selection in Architecture, Industrial Design and Aerospace Engineering
As from September 2012, TU Delft limits the number of First-year students enrolling in its Bachelor’s programmes in Architecture, Industrial Design Engineering and Aerospace Engineering, in other words TU Delft introduces a numerus clausus. It is important to apply early, visit the website for more information.

Final deadline
In order to prevent problems with completion of your enrolment, we strongly request you to carry out the enrolment and to make the required payments before 1 August, with 30 September as the final deadline. Enrolment after September is only possible if you enrol for the second semester of a Master degree programme (first time enrolment only). This is possible for the following programmes Design for Interaction (IO), Integrated Product Design (IO) and Strategic Product Design (IO).

Registration after September may be possible, only by means of a reasoned request. For academic year 2011/2012 this request can be send to inschrijving2011-2012@tudelft.nl, for academic year 2012/2013 you can address your request to inschrijving2012-2013@tudelft.nl. Retroactive enrolment is not permitted by law.

To learn more about admission please consult the Student Charter or contact the Central Student Administration.

Long-term students
As from academic year 2012/2013, students who take longer than the allotted time + 1 year of study, may be faced with an increased tuition fee. Visit the TU site for more infotmation, or contact us via langstuderen@tudelft.nl

NB!
You should be aware that if your enrolment and required payment are not carried out on time, this will have financial consequences for your Student Grant and your public transport season ticket. For more information on this issue visit the DUO website
