Accommodation for exchange students

TU Delft has no student accommodation, but mediates between international students and housing corporation DUWO. DUWO offers one-room furnished studio apartments, each equipped with sheets, bedding and pillow cases, and a box with kitchen utensils. Almost all rooms have an internet connection and (shared) washing machines.

DUWO provides a contract for a fixed rental period of one or two semesters. This means that you are bound for the full term of the contract and that you have to make a choice beforehand whether you want to have a contract for the first, second or both semesters. It is impossible to extend a contract afterwards. The rent ranges from € 450,- to € 600,- per month for units varying from private to units with shared facilities. The rent includes gas, water, electricity, internet connection and municipal taxes.

To apply for DUWO accommodation you are required to pay a handling fee and deposit to the International Office of TU Delft. Detailed information about the costs, the conditions and the payment deadlines is available from March 2010 onwards via this website.

Guest housing

N.B. Guests who are not students and who visit TU Delft should use the guest housing application form. Guests may also choose for upper-priced accommodation at Oude Delft 75, Papenstraat and Cameretten
