Dr.Sc. Žarko Olujić 

Position

• Part-time associate professor (three years term)

Research

Experimental and modeling effort striving for intensification of the performance of gas (vapor)/liquid contactors and separators used in conjunction with distillation and related separations and hybrid processes, with particular emphasis on maximizing the energy efficiency of single distillation columns.

Short resume

• Dipl. Ing (1969), MSc (1976) and DSc (1976) in Chemical Engineering, the University of Zagreb;
• 1974-1976, DAAD fellow and research associate at the Institute for Thermal Separation Engineering, the University of Karlsruhe;
• 1969-1987, vent through all academic positions, from the teaching and research assistant to full professor in Chemical Engineering, at the University of Zagreb;
• 1987-2006, Associate professor in the Laboratory for Process Equipment, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft);
• 2006 on, started with own consulting company, part-time employment at TU Delft.
