Diversity and Delft University of Technology

Diversity refers in its widest sense to gender, class, sexual orientation, age, physical handicaps, cultural background, etc.

TU Delft aims to provide each of its students with the opportunity to develop his/her talents irrespective of his/her differences. The diversity policy of TU Delft can be described as one that aims to develop from a target-groups policy into an inclusive education policy. This means that endeavours are increasingly aimed at an educational setup and a culture within the institute that anticipates the needs of all groups as far as possible.

Currently at TU Delft, focus is being placed on the following groups:

• Students with different cultural backgrounds (TU-mult)
• Studying with a handicap
