Subsidies 

Het Valorisation Centre biedt TU Delft wetenschappers en ondersteunend personeel die met onderzoeksprojecten te maken hebben hulp bij het verwerven van onderzoeksubsidies, bij het leggen van externe contacten en bij het opstellen van contracten met derden. In de linkerkolom vindt u de benodigde informatie voor een aanvraag van een onderzoeksubsidie. Verder verzorgt het Valorisation Centre trainingen, bijeenkomsten en workshops op het gebied van onderzoekssubsidies. Advisory Workshops & Training research projects 2012

De trainingen worden in het Engels gegeven en zullen u laten kennismaken met verschillende subsidieprogramma's en helpen uw vaardigheden in het aanvragen van subsidies en het uitvoeren van onderzoeksprojecten verder te ontwikkelen.

NWO Vernieuwsimpuls VICI advisory workshop
For: Experienced researchers who obtained their doctorate at least 8 and no more than 15 years ago.
This workshop provides information, tips and tricks on how to write a successful VICI proposal, as well as insight into the evaluation criteria and procedures. NWO deadline VICI preproposal 29 March 2012.

Make your own career - personal grants day (information workshop VENI-VIDI-VICI; Rubicon; Marie Curie programme & ERC

For all academic staff

The Valorisation Centre is organising a symposium 'Make your own career' focussing on personal grant opportunities. The aim of this symposium is to inform researchers at all stages of their professional career about possibilities to develop and boost their career with a personal grant. Several funding agencies will present their specific grant possibilities like the Vernieuwingsimpuls (VENI, VIDI, VICI and Rubicon), ERC Starting and Advanced Grants and Marie Curie Individual Fellowships. Furthermore laureates at TU Delft will share their personal experiences and some tips and tricks.

ERC starting grants workshop - ‘How to write a successful proposal for ERC Starting grant’
For: all academic staff
• Have received their PhD or equivalent degree more than two years but less than twelve years prior to the opening date of the call (normally late July each year).
• Must be fully independent of senior colleagues or in the process of establishing independence.
• May come from any country or origin but must be hosted by a legally recognized public or private research organization situated in the EU or Associated.

This in-house training, organized by the Valorisation Centre, will guide you in how to write a convincing proposal for evaluators showing them that you are the future of European science. We will provide you with tools and tips for writing a winning proposal.

ERC Starting Grants aim to support up-and-coming research leaders who are about to establish or consolidate an independent research team and to start conducting independent research in Europe. The scheme targets promising researchers who have the proven potential of becoming independent research leaders. ERC Starting Grants amount up to 2.0 Mio Euro for a duration of up to 5 years. The proposals will be selected by Peer Review Evaluation Panels. The Call and application forms will be made available on: http://erc.europa.eu/.

This lunch break advisory meeting is all about making your ERC synergy grant proposal the best competitive proposal. Competition for the ERC Synergy Grant is fierce, and it is not enough to provide good science with a nice colleague scientist somewhere else in Europe!!
