Master of Science Chemical Engineering

Master of Science programme in Delft

Delft University of Technology offers a 2-years taught/research degree programme in Chemical Engineering, fully conducted in English. It trains engineers to handle the entire process of innovative thinking from molecules, reactor, design, and manufacturing. Delft graduates are broadly educated, highly employable and today at work all over the world in a great variety of functions in almost all branches of industry; in management, design, research and development. With fundamental knowledge of the technology, and the associated analytical, creative and social skills, graduates are trained intensively. A solid basis for a rewarding career.

Tracks

The MSc programme Chemical Engineering has three tracks:

  1. Molecular Engineering
  2. Process Engineering
  3. Nuclear Science and Engineering (NSE)

You will have to choose one of these tracks before you start your MSc programme!

Our goals, your achievement

xhtmlcNew developments in the field of Chemical Engineering have resulted into more molecular oriented research in the domain of NanoChemical Engineering. In the coming decade this accent will be more pronounced and will develop itself to a new domain  in which the link between molecular scale and product/process scale – including the re-use of the ‘molecules’ will be the focal point. The fundamental goal of our programme is a broad and depth understanding of the specializations in Chemical Engineering. Graduates specialize in at least one: product & process engineering, catalysis engineering, nanostructured materials,  materials energy conversion & storage, self assembling systems, opto-electronic materials, nano-organic chemistry, radiation chemistry or multiphase systems. They learn to solve multidisciplinary problems by the systematic approach, and by taking responsibility with regard to sustainability, economics and social welfare.
