Risk Management Summer Course

From 4-15 July TU Delft offers a Risk Management summer course that familiarizes you with real-life organizational risks and the controls that can be implemented to reduce their related impact and likelihood.

Corporate and academic (international) guest speakers will share their knowledge on how to protect an organization against flood, cyber, supply chain, aviation, chemical and other risks, and achieve better business continuity.

The first week of the summer course features the ISO 31000 world standard on Risk Management which includes the Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB) Risk Manager certification exam, resulting in a globally recognized certificate.

The second week features 4 specialised tracks:

  • Business Continuity / Contingency Planning (ISO 22301)
  • Information / Cyber Security (ISO 27001)
  • Risk Assessment Methodologies (ISO 31010)
  • Supply Chain Security (ISO 28000)

Key speakers include Prof. Dr. Ir. Pieter van Gelder (faculty of TPM), Prof. Mr. Dr. Ir. Sicco Santema (faculty of IDE) and Rinske Geerlings (managing director Business as Usual, Australia).
