3 PAPERS AT USENIX SECURITY SYMPOSIUM

Last week, researchers from TU Delft presented 3 papers at the Usenix security symposium. The first paper was a large-scale survey for malicious cryptomining on the Internet, which showed how criminals systematically undermine Internet websites to let victims generate Monero for their profit. The second paper showed that it is possible to extract the structure of a neural network, which are commonly used for machine learning, by collecting electromagnetic emissions from a micro controller running the algorithm. Read more
