New programme manager of TU Delft | Global Initiative

Nieuws - 01 juni 2019

We are pleased to inform you that Claire Hallewas has been appointed as the new programme manager of the TU Delft | Global Initiative. She will assume the position with effect from 1 June, taking over from Acting Programme Manager Roel Kamerling. We would like to thank Roel for standing in over the last six months and are delighted that he will continue to strengthen the TU Delft | Global Initiative as programme developer.

Claire has spent the last six years as science information officer for the TU Delft Health Initiative and the TU Delft Sports Engineering Institute. Before that, she lived and worked for several years in Jakarta, Indonesia, where she was involved in various projects in development cooperation. She also acquired knowledge about working in a global setting in Brussels at the Belgian Development Agency (now Enabel). “My new role with Delft Global gives me a great opportunity to combine my experience in the field in Asia with my expertise in positioning, project management and fundraising. I very much look forward to working with the Delft Global community and the Delft Global team, and achieving together even more progress in making an impact globally and locally.”
