Pieter van Gelder 25 years at TU Delft

Last Friday November 1^st, Pieter van Gelder celebrated his 25^th work anniversary at TU Delft. In 1994, Pieter started at TU Delft as a PhD student at the faculty of Civil Engineering. From 2000-2013 he was assistant / associate professor at that same faculty. He worked on risk / probability assessments on flooding and high water. From 2013 onwards, he has been a full professor and head of the section of Safety and Security Science at the faculty of TPM. At the section of Safety and Security Science he develops mathematical models of risk control.
