Research Assessment encourages IDE to take the lead

In autumn 2020 IDE underwent a research assessment – a process carried out by an independent committee that happens just once every six years. While such assessments inevitably look at past research (in this case the period 2013-2018), the faculty also asked the committee to offer advice on the faculty’s future development. The message the committee gave was clear: continue to collaborate and expand on those collaborations. And take the lead on the future of design research.
