IDE postdoctoral researcher Guido Giunti Garcia took home the Junior Chamber International’s Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award in the Medical Innovations category. The awards took place digitally and can be viewed here.

Guido is part of the team working on the Consultation Room 2030 project. The Consultation Room 2030 is a joint project of TU Delft, Erasmus Medical Center and Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management to explore how the future of healthcare will change in the coming years.

The Junior Chamber International is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation for young professional interested in personal and professional growth. The JCI has consultative status with the Council of Europe, the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, and UNESCO.

It's truly amazing to receive such an award and it helps in validating what we believe and work towards in the Consultation Room 2030 project. We share a vision of healthcare where there are no clear borders that separate medical care and from living well. In the future we see lies a spectrum of care focused on the people first and foremost, made possible through the new technologies.
