Ab initio guided materials designing to enable hydrogen economy

Dr. Poulumi Dey, Assistant Professor at Materials Science and Engineering department of TU Delft, recently delivered an invited talk on “Ab initio guided materials designing to enable hydrogen economy” at the Psi-k 2022 conference. Psi-k 2022 is the largest worldwide conference dedicated to electronic-structure. It was held at SwissTech Convention Center at EPFL in Lausanne (Switzerland) and was attended by more than 1250 participants. Dr. Dey’s talk focused on her ongoing research activities on computational based search of efficient hydrogen storage materials and mitigating hydrogen embrittlement in steels in collaboration with TU Delft colleagues, Groningen University and Tata Steel.
