Alexios Voulimeneas joins Cybersecurity at TU Delft as Assistant Professor.

Alexios is an assistant professor in the Cyber Security Group, Delft University of Technology.
 
Alexios is an expert on Operating Systems and Software Security. He was a postdoctoral researcher in the imec-DistriNet research group at KU Leuven. Alexios earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Irvine for his work on “Building the Next Generation of Security Focused NVX Systems: Overcoming Limitations of N-Variant Execution” under the supervision of Michael Franz. He was also an intern at Oracle Labs and Apple in the USA.
 
His research was presented at top security and systems venues such as ACM CCS, ACM EuroSys, USENIX ATC, and DIMVA. He has served in the program committees of ACM CCS, ACM Middleware, ACM EuroSys, ESORICS, ACM ASIACCS, and in the artifact evaluation committees of USENIX Security, ACM EuroSys, USENIX OSDI, and ACM PLDI.
 
Alexios was awarded the 2023 ACM ASIACCS Best Reviewer award, the 2022 ACM EuroSys Distinguished Reviewer Artifact award, and was the Runner-up for the 2022 CNIL-Inria Award for Privacy Protection.
