Biaxial tester
The Ship and Offshore Structures section of TU Delft has use of an Instron 8854 axial – torsion test machine. The specifications are given below:

The machine is equipped with a temperature chamber that is capable of a temperature range from -150°C to 350°C. It is currently being used to assess Mode I and mixed Mode I/III fatigue properties.
