Ehsan obtained his Ph.D. within the framework of the Innovative Training Network (mCBEEs, Marie Skłodowska-Curie program) in Environmental and Energy Engineering Science at the University of Udine, Italy under the supervising of Dr. Maria Lekka and Prof. Lorenzo Fedrizzi. His Ph.D. entitled “Localized Corrosion Mechanism on Micro-and Nano devices in Biomedical Field” was divided in two different routes 1) Study of the corrosion mechanisms and electrochemical interactions on the solid/protein interface at micro/nanoscale and 2) Degradation process of micro/nanodevices or materials in the simulated human body media. During his PhD, he had some scientific activities as a short-term research visitor in Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Systems (IRIS), ETH University and Electrochemical and Surface Engineering in VUB University.
Now he is working as a postdoctoral researcher on Advanced Measuring and Modelling of Thin-Film Corrosion (ThinCorr) project under supervising of Dr. Yaiza Gonzalez-Garcia.
