Current Research Topics

Understanding and optimizing multiphase hydrodynamics, heat, and mass transport in eletrochemical flow reactors with porous electrodes, including

  • Electrolysers
  • Redox flow batteries
  • Fuel cells

using analytical modelling, simulations, and experiments. The main applications I focus on are:

  • Hydrogen (alkaline and PEM/AEM)
  • CO2 reduction (aqueous and GDEs)
  • H2Br2 membrane-less flow batteries
