Flow patterns in plate heat exchangers and local heat and mass transfer process

Plate heat exchangers (PHEs) are widely utilized in industry and the further understanding of evaporation and condensation within PHEs is needed. This project includes the visualization experiments of two-phase flow pattern, local heat transfer measurement and modelling of combined heat and mass transfer processes. The test section and experimental set-up are constructed to allow for visualization experiments and local measurements.
