Bridging programme for HBO and WO students

How are the bridging programmes for Dutch HBO and WO students organised and composed?

  • Students who have successfully completed the bridging programme for the current MSc Civil Engineering (CE) or Applied Earth Sciences (AES) programmes will automatically be admitted to the new AES or CE MSc programmes.
  • Students who have successfully completed the bridging programme for the Water Management or Environmental Engineering (ENV) track of the current CE MSc programme will automatically be admitted to the new ENV MSc programme.
  • Students who start a bridging programme in 2022-2023 prepare for one of the new MSc programmes. Information about the bridging programme in 2021-2022 can be found on the website.
  • The bridging programme will be per programme. There are no additional requirements for tracks.

If I don’t meet the requirements, is there also a bridging programme for international students?

The bridging programmes consist mainly of courses from the BSc CT which is taught in Dutch. A good command of the Dutch language is therefore necessary to complete most bridging programmes.
