Please note that the Board meeting is scheduled in March 2024.

To support you in preparing an excellent fieldwork proposal, we organise a 2-hour workshop.
The Molengraaff Fund provides financial support for fieldwork to students and PhD candidates of Dutch Universities. Preparing a well-thought and exciting proposal is a pre-requisite for its approval and, even more importantly, to obtain the exciting information and knowledge you are looking for. During the last years we (the selection committee) have seen proposals where goals and methods of fieldwork were not adequately presented and, consequently often rejected. We feel this is a pity because the fieldwork itself might have been exciting and scientifically valid.

To support you in the preparation of your proposal, professor Giovanni Bertotti offers a 2-hour workshop to individuals planning to submit a proposal to the Molengraaff Fund. On the basis of your proposal drafts, we will discuss fieldwork strategies and goals and, if wished for, address your ideas for fieldwork. In addition, professor Giovanni Bertotti will provide tips to improve the technicalities of the proposal.

The workshop will take place at TU Delft on Friday 16 February, 11.00-13.00 or Monday 19 February, 9.30-11.30. Please register via an email to Ingrid Baidjoe via i.a.d.baidjoe@tudelft.nl, also indicating your preferred date.
