From 27th June at 10:00 up to 1st July at 15:00, 2016 Delft University of Technology will host the second PETRUS-OPERA PhD Conference in Delft, the Netherlands, dedicated to: ‘Radioactive Waste Management and Geological Disposal’ in conjunction with the Reactor Institute Delft. You are welcome to register to attend and/or present relevant work.

The Imperial Barrel Award is an annual competition organized by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) for Geoscience MSc students from universities around the world. Each team receives a data set (2D and/or 3D seismic data, petrophysical logs, cores etc.) and has to define exploration targets in the area of interest.

On Friday 12th of February, Negar Khoshnevis Gargar has won the DEWIS Award for Best Female PhD candidate TU Delft over the past year.
