I am currently working on quantifying the deformation behavior of reservoir rocks under changing stress conditions during CO2 injection through laboratory experiments and further populate the understanding to field scale applications through numerical modeling.
During my PhD, I tried to understand the geomechanics and gas storage-migration behavior in subsurface shale and coal reservoirs for enhanced gas recovery and CO2 storage applications.
