I am a PhD candidate at the department of Geoscience and Remote Sensing, focussing on the nocturnal boundary layer dynamics. I am interested in geophysical physics and environmental fluid dynamics.
The night-time (nocturnal) atmospheric boundary layer poses a challenge for current weather models. A thorough understanding of nocturnal boundary layer dynamics is a key pre requisite for more accurate and detailed weather forecasts. Therefore, i am running numerical simulations in order to gain new insights in the processes that affect the night time weather patterns.
