Jeroen van den Bos

Jeroen holds both an MSc degree in Civil Engineering and Management from the University of Twente, and an MSc degree in Hydraulic Engineering from TU Delft. He has worked in the construction industry for more than 10 years at Royal Boskalis Westminster, where he played several roles in the design, engineering and execution of large land reclamation and port construction projects worldwide.

Jeroen has filled a part-time position as guest lecturer at TU Delft since 2009, supporting the courses in Bed, Bank and Shore Protection, and Breakwaters & Closure Dams, as well as supervising many MSc thesis projects.

In 2016, Jeroen moved to TU Delft as a fulltime lecturer and researcher. In this new role, he will be teaching and coordinating the courses on Flood Defenses and Breakwaters & Closure Dams, as well as conducting a PhD research in the field of computational fluid dynamics (see below).
