Miguel Mendoza Lugo
Profile
Miguel Angel Mendoza Lugo studied at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM), where he finished the Master in engineering science. During his master studies, he did an internship at TU Delft in the probabilistic group of the department of Hydraulic Engineering. His thesis “Reliability analysis of reinforced concrete vehicle bridges columns using non-parametric Bayesian networks” focuses in estimating the probability of failure of a concrete vehicle bridges through Bayesian Networks.
Research
Currently, Miguel is working on a probabilistic load simulation model and methodology in order to map road risk and reliability assessment to assist with the development of rehabilitation strategies for deteriorated structures.
