Alessandra Crosato

Profile

Alessandra Crosato's scientific career started in 2005, after 20 years of work as a consultant and model developer in the field of river and estuarine morphodynamics at Delft Hydraulics (now Deltares), the Netherlands; ISMES, Italy, and CEMAGREF, France. She defended her PhD thesis entitled "Analysis and modelling of river meandering" at TU Delft in 2008, which has been recently published in Chinese by the Ministry of Water Resources of China. Since 2006, she is employed by UNESCO-IHE and maintains a strong collaboration with TU Delft, where she holds the position of research associate.
