Peter acted as project manager of a multidisciplinary team for the preparation of mooring arrangements, preliminary, final and detailed designs and tender documents for a new LNG terminal at Maasvlakte in the Port of Rotterdam. The terminal consists of a new harbor basin, quay structures for seagoing vessels and inland barges including marine fittings such as fenders and bollards, slope and bed protections. Special attention was paid to the interaction between the quay structure and surrounding storage tanks. For the quay structure also complicated pipeline passings were engineered. Also tender assistance was provided. The construction works have been assigned and commenced in January 2015.
