Research

  • Approach uncertainty in public transport networks from a decision theoretic perspective
  • Use conventional stated preference experiments in combination with revealed preferences from data sources such as smart card data in order to analyse traveller behaviour
  • Identify situations where inconsistent behavioural changes can be observed to enable nudging travellers into making “optimal” decisions
  • Use dynamic, agent-based transit assignment modelling to analyse impact of behavioural inconsistencies at the network level in order to identify “optimal” behaviour

Projects

My-TRAC is a H2020 EU project with the aim of developing a personalized travel companion in the form of a mobile application.
