Manuel Garcia Garcia

My name is Manuel Garcia. I studied Industrial Chemical Engineering at the University of Oviedo where I graduated in 2014 in the Environmental specialization.

After a year in Australia I studied a MSc in Environmental Engineering at Newcastle University where I graduated in 2016. My master thesis was the developing of Microbial Fuel Cells (MFC) with a recovery chamber for the recovery of phosphorus and nitrogen under the supervision of Professor Thomas Curtis. Shortly after finishing my MSc I was offered a job to design and build MFC’s for the civil engineering faculty.

In February 2018 I started the PDEng programme at TU Delft under the supervision of Professor Jules van Lier and Dr. Ralph Lindeboom in collaboration with Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
