Structure

Sections

In order to provide an operating framework for all major society activities in a regional sphere, SPE has several sections around the world. They are semi-autonomous units and self-governing within the framework of SPE policies. Members residing of a section annually elect section officers and directors responsible for conducting section operations. SPE sections are organized into geographic regions, and each region has representation on the SPE Board of Directors, the chief governing body of the society.

Student Chapters

At a university level, SPE is present through the student chapters. Student members attending the university annually elect officers. Every SPE chapter is sponsored by an SPE section. Our student chapter is part of the SPE Netherlands section.
