This year's Van Hasselt Lecture at TU Delft was delivered by philosopher Samuel Scheffler (NYU). During Scheffler’s stay in Delft, the Delft Digital Ethics Centre organized a workshop on Values and Valuing in Virtual Life with Samuel Scheffler as guest of honor.

Stefan Buijsman in EenVandaag over identificatie van doelwitten met AI
Stefan Buijsman maakt zich zorgen over de inzet van The Gospel, een AI systeem dat door Israël wordt gebruikt om doelwitten te identificeren. "Wanneer je AI inzet om doelwitten te identificeren, dan ontmenselijkt dat de tegenstander. Je maakt van je tegenstander een reeks cijfers op een beeldscherm, in plaats van dat je kijkt naar de mensen die je wilt uitschakelen."
