TU Delft Highlights 2015 with Serge Hoogendoorn

During TU Delft’s Dies Natalis that was celebrated on Friday January 8th, the ‘Highlights 2015’ were presented: a document that reflects TU Delft and the highlights of the past year. The document contains an interview with amongst others Serge Hoogendoorn.

Slow traffic needs knowledge fast

Professor Serge Hoogendoorn received an ERC Advanced Grant for five-year research into traffic theory for pedestrians and cyclists. ‘Pedestrian and cyclist traffic is becoming ever more important in our cities. In Amsterdam it is already the most important mode of transport,’ according to Hoogendoorn.
