Programming is becoming increasingly important in today’s world. And what you learn as a child stays with you for life. The MOOC ‘Scratch: Programming for children (8+)’ contains video clips and tasks for children to learn how to program.

Every week the children make a game: a maze, an aquarium, a Flappy Bird game and a sort of Super Mario. They learn new programming blocks each week, and think together about how to make the best looking programs. The material in the MOOC follows the primary school curriculum for programming. The four-week MOOC by Felienne Hermans is free of charge and starts on 15 June.
