PhD defence Seyran Khademi
Today (22nd November) Seyran Khademi will obtain her doctorate within the Circuits & Systems department (Micro-electronics)
Her research is about designing wireless links in unusual environments. For example a metal environment. Her goal is to obtain high data rates of a gigabit per second. The technology could be applied in megatronic machines, who are normally equipped with cables. By using wireless links, these machines could be much smaller. Seyran's biggest challenges were the physical and RF limitations one will meet when designing high speed communication links.
