Work in progress: Realisation of the VLLAIR Lab
The building activities for our new VLLAIR lab (D1-Wing ground floor) have been started. Gradually the demolition dust has been settled and the outlines of the lab are appearing. Please find below a “sneak preview” of the lab.
Completion of the lab is scheduled for December 2016. In the coming weeks we will keep you updated on the progress.
The Van Leeuwenhoek Laboratory for Advanced Imaging Research (VLLAIR) provides a globally important contribution to the development of innovative microscopes and other imaging tools and, as a result, to international research in general. The new VLLAIR lab will be laid out according to a new laboratory concept devised by Pieter Kruit (CPO). This transparent lab concept will stimulate cooperation with various faculty’s departments and public-private parties.
