ALUMNI DAY at the Reactor Institute Delft on Friday 7 October

Within the Reactor Institute we run the investment programme OYSTER in order to expand our scientific research programme with new experiments for hot science. Recently we started the brand new PEARL diffractometer and other instruments and there’s a lot more to come.

Together with you we want to celebrate the progress we made during the last few years with OYSTER and we celebrate the 60 years anniversary of Reactor Physics at TU Delft.
You are cordially invited to our Alumni Day on Friday 7 October!

11.45 – 12.45     Welcome and lunch
12.45 – 13.15     Opening, OYSTER programme and outline for the day by Bert Wolterbeek
13.15 – 14.15    Lecture programme around key themes nuclear applications in the medical sector,   material research, new nuclear reactor systems including 60 years of Reactor Physics and the developments of instruments and methods for optimal use of neutrons and positrons.
14.15 – 15.30    Coffee, demonstrations and guided tours to PEARL, ROG and the experiment hall
15.30 – 16.30    Continuation of Lecture programme
16.30 – 17.15     Drinks
