King Willem-Alexander visits The Hague Security Delta
His Majesty the King Willem-Alexander brought a work visit to The Hague Security Delta (HSD) on March 23, 2017 and discussed with Professor Jan van den Berg the executive master's degree program Cyber Security, which TU Delft offers together with Leiden University and The Hague University.
HSD is a network of companies, governments and knowledge institutions - including TU Delft - who work together on knowledge development and innovation in the field of security. The beating heart is the HSD Campus, the National Innovation Center for Security in The Hague. King Willem-Alexander spoke during his work visit to the HSD Campus with Professor Jan van den Berg on the training of Cyber Security talents. Leiden University, TU Delft and The Hague University of Applied Sciences offer a cyber security executive training in the Cyber Security Academy. The King spoke professor Van den Berg and business and government students about challenges such as ensuring adequate supply of good teachers, anticipating rapid knowledge aging and monitoring the balance between security and privacy.
