3mE in Portraits of Science

The new issue of Portraits of Science is out: a series of interviews with (former) students, scientists and supporters who all helped to make 2017 another special year. There are superb interviews with people from 3mE, including Mirek Kaminski, professor of ship and offshore structures, about the unique test facility the Hexapod and his research on fatigue in (ship) materials, and professors Dariu Gavrila and Bart van Arem on their research in the area of intelligent vehicles. In addition, there is a piece about the research being done on exoskeleton technology in the student project entitled ‘March’. 3mE students from BioMechanical Engineering are participating in this project.
