NRP Academy celebrates five year anniversary

News - 05 July 2018 - Communication BK

The National Renovation Platform (NRP) started the one-year academic programme to improve the sustainable re-use of the existing built environment. The academy was developed in collaboration with BK Bouwkunde and several other partners from both the academic and the professional field.

The NRP Academy offers a programme with different modules, with over fifty speakers from different backgrounds. Students work on topics such as renewal, legislation, sustainable approaches, exploitation models, and specific cases. The different topics are hosted at BK Bouwkunde TU Delft, the Verwey Jonker Institute, the University of Utrecht, Nyenrode, and the Hogeschool Utrecht.

The programme is focused on collaboration between different parties in the broadest sense. Students hail from housing associations, project development companies, construction companies, real estate management companies, banks, advice bureaus, architectural firms, and the government. NRP Academy starts in September.
