Crowdfunding purified water in India

Recently, TU Delft launched the crowdfunding platform supporttudelft.nl to help enable impactful research projects and student initiatives at the university. One of the first projects currently looking for donations is Purified water in India, initiated by Dr. Ir. Ralph Lindeboom.

Ralph wants to bring together dozens of Indian, Dutch and international students and PhD students to work on Water Management and Sanitation in India. "That is two birds with one stone. Because on the one hand, future Indian engineers are becoming aware of the importance of purification and reuse of polluted water, and on the other hand, Delft scientists are learning about the cultural context in India, so that they can better assess which technological solutions are working," says Ralph.
