Release of City Rhythm book

On 19 April dr. Caroline Nevejan, principal investigator, and dr. Scott Cunningham, data director of research programme City Rhythm presented the book “City Rhythm, logbook of an exploration” to alderman Pieter Litjens of the city of Amsterdam and district secretary Bas van Sprew of the Amsterdam Southeast district. City Rhythm is searching for patterns in the city life for analysis and problemsolving purposes by using big data. Six municipalities participated in the project. At the centre of the research is the Escamp district in The Hague with 120.000 inhabitants. The City Rhythm project will be continued for the coming four years in the Southeast district of Amsterdam with support of NWO.
