Architecture students win design prize for eco-cabin

News - 05 December 2019 - Communication BK

Master students Mickaël Minghetti and Karol Wojtas explored how you can live in a spectacular yet vulnerable environment. Vectorworks rewarded their design for an eco-cabin with a $1.000,- prize and free Vectorworks software and training for the faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment.

The design of the ‘Wooden Crown’ is inspired by the environment and nature and offers space for both body and mind. The resulting eco cabin is situated in East-European woods and is easy to construct, sustainable, and built with wooden materials.

The software and training opportunities from Vectorworks are being further developed by Hans Hoogenboom (AE+T), Aytaç Balci (@hok), Stylos, and Vectorworks. Contact Hans Hoogenboom for more information.
