Martijn Hollestelle wins the Gouden RAI Wiel Studentenprijs 2018

Congratulations to Martijn Hollestelle for being awarded the Gouden RAI Wiel Studentenprijs 2018. Martijn has graduated from both T&P and Urbanism with a thesis on the topic of the impacts of automated driving. His thesis entitled: “Automated Driving: Driving Urban Development? Assessing the impacts of automated driving on urban development in an integrated agent-based modeling research-by-design approach” combines the potential changes in urban form with accessibility gains of automated driving to produce urban development scenarios applied to the province of Utrecht. Martijn has been supervised by Gonçalo Correia, Dimitris Milakis and Bart van Arem from Transport & Planning, Egbert Stolk from the University of Technology Sydney and Akkelies van Nes from the faculty of Architecture.
