MoU Tu Delft – TWISC Taiwan

CyberSecurity@TUDelft and Taiwan Information Security Center (TWISC) signed a Letter of Intent for the collaboration on several research projects.

  1. Human Factors/HTTPs adoption and IIoT led by Dr.-Ing. Tobias Fiebig (TU Delft) and Dr. Hsu-Chun Hsiao and Wei-Jeng (NTU);
  2. IoT threat intelligence and IoT monitoring devices led Dr.ir. C. (Carlos) Hernandez Ganan (TU Delft) and Prof. Shin-Ming Cheng (NTUST);
  3. 5G technologies and adaptation led by Dr. A.Y. (Aaron) Ding and Rei-Hao Hsu (NSYSU).

The aim of the collaboration is enhancing the cyber and computer security of both countries by means of the start of several research projects. From concrete results and proven formats resulting from these projects the aim is to extend towards a broader strategic and structural collaboration.

The MoU signing was the very festive finish of a week in Taiwan for an exploratory Cyber Security mission on the occasion of Monday the Next Cyber Taiwan 2019 conference.

During the week a delegation of public and private partners presented the Dutch Cyber Security landscape, innovative companies, and Public Private Partnerships. The visit was organized by NTIO (Netherlands Trade and Investment Office) Taiwan and RVO.
