The QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2020 puts TU Delft 37th in the world, up from 41st position last year. TU Delft is in the top 7% of this top 500 rankings list.
The QS Graduate Employability Rankings aims to measure (1) how good a reputation an institution has with employers, (2) to what extent an institution acts as a breeding ground for ‘high achievers’, (3) how strong an institution’s links with companies are and (4) how eager companies are to attract an institution’s graduates.
Most important contribution to society
Tim van der Hagen, Rector Magnificus and President of the Executive Board of TU Delft: “Our students find jobs quickly and our contacts in the business world assure us that companies are pleased with us. It’s good to see the global rankings confirming that. Our alumni are our most valuable contribution to society.”
The QS rankings is one of the world’s most prestigious ranking lists, together with the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and the ShanghaiRanking ARWU list. QS and THE also produce rankings that judge qualities including reputation and employability. Each of these rankings is compiled using a slightly different methodology, each with its particular focus and limitations. University rankings are often consulted by international students and scientists who are interested in studying or working abroad.
