Update on the Outside Area Project and Upgrade of Hockey Field 2

Last month, phases 1-5 of the Outside Area project were started up. The project is being executed in such a way as to allow the regular programming of the sports complex to proceed uninterrupted as far as possible and other maintenance also to be undertaken, for example the upgrade of hockey field 2.

Hockey field 1 was upgraded during the summer, and the upgrade of hockey field 2 will start on 18 November. This means that they will be ready for play well before the start of the spring leagues. In order for the work around hockey field 2 and that involved in the Outside Area project to align smoothly, paving of the paths around hockey field 2 (phases 1, 3 and 5) has been brought rescheduled. Besides this, paving stones – which are needed elsewhere in the complex – will be removed from between X2 and the hockey fields in the next few weeks.
