Two mechanical engineering students victim of Scheveningen surfing accident

Unfortunately, two students from our faculty were involved in the tragic surfing accident on Monday 11 May in Scheveningen. We report with great dismay and sadness that Max, a Bachelor's student of Mechanical Engineering, has passed away and that Mathijs, a Bachelor's student of Mechanical Engineering, is missing. Both students were active at study association Leeghwater.

We wish family, friends and acquaintances of Max and Mathijs a lot of strength in coping with this loss.
